I am a food lover who also happens to have digestive issues. I am an oxymoron. Not too long ago,I was sick and hospitalized. It sucked, but I like to think that everything happens for a reason. Here are my top ten reasons why getting sick rocked: 10.I got to eat my weight in lime jello. 9. Helped to shed those pesky five pounds I’ve been trying to get rid of. 8. Got caught up on all the old episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. No she din’t! 7. Some call them invasive procedures, I call them getting to know you better. 6. Never-ending supply of ginger ale. 5. I had a REALLY good excuse for not getting my work done. 4. It was really fun to play “hide the bedpan” with my roommate…the one with the bladder problems. 3. PAIN PILLS, I mean, mashed potatoes. 2. Did I mention the lime jello? 1. The hospital room had better views of the city than my own apartment. Happy Friday, everyone!
