Not too long ago, I was lucky enough to attend the Pebble Beach Food & Wine festival. This happened for two reasons: because the kind folks at Foodbuzz rock (and needed some cheap, on the ground bloggers to the cover the event) and because apparently I WILL work for food and (a few food celeb photos). But with people like hottie meatloaf master Tyler Florence and one of my favorite all-time Top Chef contestants ever, Carla Hall, could you really blame me for being weak?
I sure as hell can’t. More food porn and food celeb photos after the jump, because photos are the ONLY way to describe the orgy of food, wine and celebrities that was Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival.
Get ready. And pack some Tums.

The folks at Figge winery make a mean pinot that is light enough to start with. I really enjoyed it.

Chef Adam Cooke's Black Truffle Consommé with White Asparagus Cream and homemade pork rind. Hands down my favorite dish of night, probably because of the pork rind.

A most delicious rack of lamb topped with micro greens by a mysterious chef whose name I did not catch.

Tried a great chardonnay from Scheid, not oaky or buttery (which I hate), very light and refreshing! Also dug their wine chocolate truffle.

Spring Rhubarb & Strawberries, buttermilk sorbet, black pepper from chef Angela Pinkerton from Eleven Madison Park. Another great seasonal dessert, almost tasted like strawberry shortcake, but tangier.

Photo op with Fabio from Top Chef! Really enjoyed his Roasted Mushroom & Bacon Soup with Duck Confit, but the photo sadly did not turn out.

Chef Andre Bienvenu making his rootbeer push-up foam pops with liquid nitrogen. It took him 30 seconds or so to freeze the foam completely solid! SOOO good.

Hosea Rosenberg from Top Chef and I along with his kick-ass Colorado Buffalo Shortribs with green chile grits and guajillo sauce.

A bad short from a chat about pairing wine with food between several chefs and Dana Cowan from Food & Wine magazine.

Tyler Florence's Fresh Escargot with lemon, garlic, parsley, micro basil. See how the light shined around his photo on the wall? Cuz he's a god. Not a huge fan of escargots, but this was ok.

Me with Carla Hall of Top Chef fame, and now Alchemy Caterers! Also, her delicious Halibut Cheeks, braised, seared morels, carrot-ginger broth.
Thanks again to Foodbuzz for tickets to such a great, food-filled event!
