Curry at the Exeter Hotel (a photo essay)

We're excited for curry!

Curry goodness.

Can't...move. Curry...slowing...muscles...down...
Warning: Mass consumption of especially delicious curry may cause excessive bloating, slowed reflexes and an uncontrollable desire to cuddle with slightly obese kittens.

Chris: Eating Locally in Chicago: The CSA Experiment...
until you told me about this, the only thing I thought illinois produced in troves was corn, soybeans and turnips. I am definitely signing up next season.

JZ: Eating Locally in Chicago: The CSA Experiment...
I must say, I am very interested in your findings in this experiment. . I was looking into CSAs a couple of months ago but I decided not to go for it. My roommate eats nothing but peanut butter and jelly and it seemed like it would be too much for just me. I stick to my weekly trips to the farmers market instead.
I do have a slight case of goat cheese envy...

suzer: Ribfest Lincoln Square (Vegans beware!)...
You are making me homesick...and hungry. I've been making ribs
recently here in Oz, since I bought some proper yank-style bbq
sauce from USA Foods. Can't wait for my trip home in February
to have some proper bbq though...

leenatrivedi23: U.S. Food Blog Survey Results!...
Adam~ No worries, mate!
Tracy~ Okay, seriously? I'm blushing. Can I just put you in my office and have you there as my own personal cheerleader? I can pay you in bacon and crudely drawn pictures of Gary Coleman. Let me know.
I just found out about the symposium, and at the very least, I am going to submit my dissertation. I sincerely hoped I get picked to speak, but either way, it should be a great conference. Thanks for reminding me about it and for all the nice compliments!
