A December 6, 2010 Ars Technica article discussed a new possibility for food transportation being tested in Great Britain.The Foodtubes Project is a group of academics, engineers and project planners working with the idea of transporting food via a system of air-pressured underground tubing. This system is expected to be efficient, fast and energy saving.
