Amuse Bouche: Boutique Wine by the Glass...a good idea?

The Vini from Sunbox Eleven Winery

Sunbox eleven Winery has started selling The Vini, boutique wine by the glass. I tried to imagine an occasion when I have ever needed a boutique wine by the glass in a convenient carrying package…while hiking? For a random picnic? What do you think? How would you use this? Good or bad idea?

I am pretty excited to use the empty bottle to make my own vanilla extract, though…;)

    I, too, also found myself the luck recipient of The Vini from Sunbox Eleven wineries. I had no trouble trying to find uses as my mind raced from the possibilities. I love having a great glass of wine in the evening and found this to be the perfect alternative from opening an entire bottle. A friend took hers to the movies. My only problem is I do not have anymore. But I have heard that Sunbox Eleven is making new varietals of The Vini.

    Thankfully, my mother was a recipient of a few tubes of the Vini & kind enough to share! I think it is a wonderful idea, you can take them on picnics, boats & my mom even found out they will go through airport security! That's definitely the best glass of wine you'll ever have on a plane! I can't wait for more

    I enjoyed a Vini while watching Iron Man 2. It fit into my purse perfectly and was a real treat at the movies. Would be great on a boat too and I love the idea of drinking that wonderful wine on an airplane.
