Amuse bouche: American pizza style #4

California style or gourmet pizzas are made with a lighter crust, and topped with fresh ingredients that are not traditionally Italian. Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley, California originated this style of pizza in 1980, and celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck also developed his own style of pizza with creative ingredients that influenced California style pizza.
