Leena is the principal and senior writer for Leena Eats: Gourmet Communications. She received her M.F.A. in Gastronomy from the University of Adelaide in South Australia & Le Cordon Bleu, a B.A. in speech communications with a minor in creative writing from Bradley University and her A.A.S. in culinary arts from Joliet Junior College. Leena’s spare time is filled with eating, cooking, and busting into the occasional freestyle rap. She also enjoys gratuitous food porn and has a deeply special relationship with bacon.

Welcome to the new Leena Eats This Blog. Food, travel and gastronomy 5 days a week, brought to you by the future first food writer for Rolling Stone. If you hate killer food porn & recipes, humor, food history or things that rock, you’re in the wrong place, buddy. Go eat some bacon.
The blog was originally created as a way to document Leena’s time in Australia (where she earned a masters in gastronomy from the University of Adelaide) for friends and family members back in Chicago. After graduation, Leena and her blog moved back to Chicago for a tasty but arctic year. These days, you can find her in warmer San Francisco, eating, writing and teaching cooking classes.
